Wales ranked 5th in the world

Apparently as it stands Wales will be ranked 5TH IN THE WORLD when the next FIFA world rankings come out!
This would be inaccurate as far as I'm concerned but I'm not moaning. Can anyone confirm it's true?

It's wrong as it stands we are 11th in the world, if England don't win tonight we will go above them into 10th place.

Ye, I've worked it out that as it stands we're minimum of 11th, but depending on Brazil, Colombia, Portugal and Uruguay's results, we could go as high as 6th

Some Crazy, Crazy stuff going on with World rankings?

Remember when Switzerland were 2nd in the list or when we were below Mauritius a few years ago in 100 and something rank ?

The system does seem to be volatile at the moment, and it could easily see us drop like a stone over the next few games! But at least we are in the ideal spot for July's rankings, with the world cup draw using these, and we have a minimum of two years or so before our position affects our games again!

Yes, if we were to reach the top 10, it would look a bit silly.

But bloody hell, let's enjoy it, eh? We've never been here before, and anyway, it gives us a boost in terms of a much better seeding for the draw for the World Cup qualifiers!

How can you possibly say that after we just beat Belgium, who themselves were 2nd in the standings legitametly? That result showed that we can beat ANY national side in the world. Most people said that we were going to get a hiding from Belgium on Friday, but look what happened there. Listen, if we can stop Belgium from scoring in 2 games, then we fully deserve our ranking position. There are not many teams who have done that, or even could do that. Name 5 teams at this moment who you think are better than Belgium and deserve to be ahead of them in the rankings, especially the form they have shown over the past year.

after a certain amount of teams you start running out of sides you can be sure are better than us though.

man -on-man belgium have a better quality squad. However they now havent scored past us in 3 games. only had one shot on target in the last one too. Add to that the last time they scored past us (2 goals) was when we were down to ten men

Sometimes you have to give credit where its due, and we are due a lot of it. On current form (which is whata large part of the rankings is made from) we deserve our place in the top 20 for sure, perhaps even higher

They haven't scored against us in the last two games, yes, but they did score against us in Brussels in October 2013.

Beat Cyprus, Israel, Andorra and lets be opto by giving us a draw against Bosnia we could be up to 2nd place behind England.
