Very proud to be welsh last night club differences as it should be put aside to support your country. swansea flags next to cardiff flags newport flags welsh fans as one stood together even the stewards had their part to play leaving the flags up, and the fans singing the songs together cheering every player no matter what club they play for or have played for :ayatollah:

I agree, we've come a long way in 4 years since the Cardiff/Swansea trouble at the England game...

All brought together by a great team and amazingly.. Chris Coleman

Sorry to spoil the upbeat post annis,
Just missed an incident in the car park canton end prior to ko .
Two cardiff fans had a bit of a slap, off a couple of wrexham allegedly. Spoke the two lads while the paramedics where dealing with them .
totally uncalled for but these things happen ...

Totally agree,Wrexham very bitter fans still.

On my way in to the Ninian Stand I was walking with Carl and our daughters and I saw/heard Wrexham fans mouthing and singing pathetic songs, but I just shook my head and went to the turnstiles, they need to grow up.

It was great. Simply amazing.

Walked past the stewards' van where they were handing in their hi is gear. Made a point of stopping to congratulate them. I was stone cold sober (looking after kids etc) so not the beer talking.

Fantastic night to be a Welsh football fan. My kids were buzzing coming out of the stadium. They won't forget that in a hurry.

Best post I've seen on here. We go to France hating each other it will spoil the trip for every person there.

Banter is great but we need to be going as Wales not Swansea/Cardiff.

Just shows we can do it annis. Still a few butters that want trouble but when wales play unity is the only sensible answer. Still have some chopsy kids tho that think they are it!

Everyone Welsh should get behind the team ,no matter where they come from & cut this sort of infantile behaviour out.

Forever blue why are wrexham bitter then?

Jon. because for years Cardiff fans have dominated Wales away support and to be fair to them they have followed Wales through all the bad times with No recognition and all everyone ever talks about is City fans at Wales games. They have a group of 30 -40 who go every where, all lads, but they have been out of order on numerous occasions over the years always attacking very small groups of Cardiff fans, when we have not been in big numbers.

What annoys them is Cardiff fans not only dont think about Wrexham, but we dont see them as rivals or have ever rated them.
They need to grow up,times have changed :thumbright:

Hey forever blue, thanks for the info.

Totally agree they need to grow up, behaviour like that is unacceptable In today's society and especially when someone is following our nation.

I go to a few wrexham games (and CCFC games)when they play down in the south east especially if palace are away to far north and international games are on, even went to Wembley & never experienced any hassle off them but some do dress scruffily and some are a bit strange to me.

The irony is that Wrexham could gain support from Cardiff supporters if they just got the chip off their shoulders (the trouble makers I mean).

The best thing about the match Friday was you could hardly tell who was who and it didn't matter. We were united as a national group for the first time I can ever remember. No nonsense in the stands and a huge advert for our brand of Welsh football. The icing on the cake was the result.

hi annis,i have never trusted Wrexham after what they done to lee harris,i think wales had been playing Luxemburg in Cardiff, after game lee and his mate were walking past the castle, mini bus of Wrexham attacked them, lee was cut up and had 50 stitches in his face.total and utter cowardice. I'm sorry, but I don't trust lads from the other welsh sides, they hate Cardiff,if any of them seen a chance to do some city, then they would.

What's this Cardiff / Swansea love in all about. Give them grief - even if it is a Wales game. Though it should stop at banter. No need for violence.

Annis do you ever think you might get a slap from a few jacks at wales games?? As since the internet plays a big part now more than 20 years ago :old:

To be honest,Ive met quite a few Jacks in the airports and in Mallorca, theyve come over and spoken and many have even bought me a drink :thumbright:

Its Newport who despise me,but even some of them over the last few years have been ok and respectful :thumbright:
