A reported bid from Wolves for Joe Mason recently was turned down, with it falling far short of the Cardiff asking price. Publically we've stated that he isn't for sale and issued a 'hands off' warning to our Championship rivals.
Privately these thoughts could be different mind? As we know every player has a price with Mason's said to be around the £3m mark....
Wolves' initial bid of £1.5m was, rightly so, turned down but the reports from the Midland's area in the Express & Star say that Kenny Jackett hasn't been put off, as he still wants to sign the 24-year-old.
This has seen an improved offer made but it's also claimed this isn't going to meet our valuation so that will also, if it hasn't already, be turned down.
One that we know isn't leaving the Cardiff City Stadium this summer now; well not for Liverpool anyway, is David Marshall.
An interest had been reported but with former Bolton 'keeper, and former loanee teammate of Mason's at the Macron Stadium, Adam Bogdan completing his move to Anfield that will kill off those rumours.
