Not 100% sure what this post is getting at.

The atmosphere was electric where I was and not a single person was standing.

Is this post another one about the only way to generate an atmosphere is by being allowed to stand?

I think last night proved that's not true. It's all about the quality and excitement levels.

I had an old steward warn me about standing up in upper Ninian. Now literally I was only on occasion standing up when big songs were being belted out trying to encourage others to sing up. Need to swap our tickets for canton if I can I guess.

Canton stand - didnt sit once and didnt see a steward.
You can only generate proper atmosphere by standing.

Singing and sitting is like an old folks carol service.

The whole canton end was standing and although the rest of the stadium was still buzzing... The canton end was absolutly bouncing

And for me that's how it should be at City games. Everyone in the Canton standing and buzzing because that's what they like to do, which is brilliant. That's why all those wanting to stand should get over there and leave us old codgers to sit as and when we want to.

It's a pity as one fan base we sometimes end up fighting each other, as happened in the Ninian several times last season when small numbers stood and spoilt the enjoyment for those who can't stand or simply prefer not to.

Ok Mr Pedantic...... obviously you get off by correcting others opinions.

Let me help you get some sleep tonight!

Where I was sat and for as far as I could see, not one person was standing. Perhaps you could enlighten us as to the EXACT number who were standing near you.

Tit!

Upper Ninian, Canton side - stewards made a bit of a fuss confiscating one can of Stella. FFS. Belgian lager. Cultural exchange should have been the line.
