Former Preston defender Scott Laird has signed for Scunthorpe United.
The defender spent three years at Deepdale, helping the Lilywhites back to the Championship.
He follows Scott Wiseman and Jack King in moving from Preston to Scunthorpe.

There's a lot of this sort of post at the moment.
Slow off season and admin ran out of squad players to ask us, each morning, whether they were any good.

I like this board most of the time but it's getting boring with all these headlines that have nothing to do with Cardiff City... but you have to open just in case. It's misleading and an overt attempt to get extra hits. Please be more honest with the headlines. "Laird signs for Scunthorpe" would have been a more accurate headline. You would have had less hits but you wouldn't be misleading your members. Too many more and you risk switching people off. Just my opinion.
