COLEMAN & WILLIAMS ON BELGIUM

Thurs 11th June 2015

Chris Coleman and Ashley Williams attended a press conference at the Cardiff City Stadium prior to their morning training session.

Wales manager Chris Coleman and captain Ashley Williams spoke positively to the press on Thursday (11 June) ahead of the crucial EURO 2016 Group B Qualifier against Belgium in Cardiff on Friday night, writes UEFA.com correspondent Mark Pitman.

"This is what we have always wanted - we want to be playing in front of full houses against big teams," said Coleman, who also announced that defender Paul Dummett had withdrawn with a hamstring injury.

"This is where we have always wanted to be and we're embracing it. The more big games you play the better you get."

Belgium will be without influential midfielder Marouane Fellaini, but captain Ashley Williams was not focusing on that specific withdrawal. "They are going to replace him another quality player - they have strength throughout," explained Williams.

"They have a lot of talent, especially in attack. They have different threats, they have pace and they are physical."
