I think the main goal has to be playing at the millstad in front of 60-70k fans. It is our national stadium after all. I think they are probably aiming for.....big games at the mill stad and smaller games like friendlies at the ccs. I mean if we drew the likes of Germany, Holland, spain, England ect, then you would probably fill the millennium everytime

Yeah the rugby pissheads would turn up for big football games like they turn up for big rugby games and not give a shit the rest of the year around.

That's how it was when it first opened. It's an egg ground, with the occasional pop concert. The FAW should play all Wales games at football grounds, like they do now. Just a shame that the Racecourse can't stage games any more.

Can't see myself returning to watch wales at the Millenium if I'm totally honest. Whether it's a big game or not. The great thing about the CCS at the moment is everyone there is football orientated and you know the stadium is a football stadium.

But that's the thing. The faw are out to make as much money as they possibly can, so if they think they can get over 60k at the millennium stadium for certain games, then there's no way they are gonna turn it down.....especially now that public interest has massively picked in the national team. Me, I'd much prefer us to have a dedicated national football and rugby stadium.....with maybe the odd showpiece game played at the millstad, like for instance the champions league final if we got to host it....even the odd big friendly, but for all qualifiers, I think they should stay at the CCS.....it should be seen as our national football stadium, that way we keep the identity of our rugby and football seperate

I think the players would have a say in it and they seem to like CCS. Also the playing surface is much better.

Yeah, they might get the odd meaningless friendly from time to time :laughing6: can't see the FAW choosing Swansea over Cardiff for any important games though. Again, its all about money, no way would they generate the same kind of money by hosting games in Swansea as they get from hosting games in cardiff, surely. Got to keep our national team in the capital

The rugby piss heads will turn up just like all the welsh football fans coming out of the woodwork for this one

And the vast majority of the welsh football fans support English clubs.

So you haven't got a leg to stand on when you say rugby fans don't watch regional rugby., as neither do the football fans.

I knew someone would bring up rugby.

I agree with you. You're right. Haven't got a clue why he brought welsh rugby fans into it. Its like you're not aloud to support both sports or something lol.

They should probably rotate depending on who we are playing... if it's Andora then CCS, if it's Ingurland then Millstad.

The management and players should have the biggest say. If they prefer the surroundings of the ccs over the millennium then so be it. Im sure a successful Wales team qualifying for major tournaments can generate revenue through new sponsors as much as an extra few thousand supporters at a bigger ground. If the crowds continue to flock then it might need to be addressed in the future.
