Will they allow it this Friday?

Tue Jun 09, 2015 5:53 pm

I wonder what welcome all the bars and pubs in Cardiff will give us this Friday now the interest in Welsh football has picked back up? I wonder if they will finally allow fans to wear Welsh football shirts inside their bars and pubs like they allow the rugby fans on their international days? Or will they all still treat us like criminals in our lovely pro rugby, anti football city?

I was thinking the same, not so much before the game but after it. Im going down Mill lane at 12.30 but afterwards Im unsure whether to even bother going back into town after never been allowed to wear a wales football top in before.

Billy, I would love to wear my Wales Gary Speed shirt out this Friday to watch the game, but I highly doubt any of the bars or pubs will allow me in on a Friday night. It's absolutely pathetic I feel I have to wear normal clothing out to avoid the risk of being denied entrance.

One of my friends wasn't allowed into the Live Lounge after we beat Swansea. The first ever Premiership derby and they wouldn't allow us City fans to celebrate and enjoy ourselves. My friend even had a jacket on but the bouncer saw a little bit of blue underneath and wouldn't allow my friend in! I despise our anti football, pro rugby city, which is why I look after the people who look after me on match days by staying in Canton.
