Signings?

Do you think it's going to be hard to sign players due to our hierarchy? Looking at Derby now splashing the cash I feel we need to get players in soon!

Still a lot of time left before the deadline closes on 1st September although quite a few Championship clubs have already strengthened and many more are actively linked with players.

Although the window isn't open yet many decent players coming to the end of their current contracts are being snapped up, e.g. Bent & Pearce to Derby. We have been linked to so many players but don't seem anywhere close to signing anyone.

I don't think that the club has the appeal like it used to and we would not been a first choice for other Championship/ Premiership players. Looks like we are in the depths of of the Championship and many players will be looking to go to the teams who are likely to be challenging for promotion.

It will be interesting to see what money the club makes available for transfers & what players we actually sign. Will give some indication as to whether the club is serious about challenging for promotion or not.

Derby are setting themselves up again. Twice they've choked when it mattered and thrown it away.

The expectations of the fans are going to be massive, the pressure on the manager will also be huge.

Whereas I think we go into the season with mid table in mind.

Don't believe some of the guff on here.Money talks loudest.

Most clubs who you expect to be pushing for promotion will only need couple players! Lots of other good players around, despite what people think we are still a lot more attractive than most champ clubs.
