According to a Southampton fan on Twitter, he believes Southampton have made a bid for David Marshall but the bid was turned down by City.

There was no mention of the size of bid.

That doesn't sound far off the mark seeing that they need a back up keeper whilst Forster is injured. Would take anything near the 5 million mark for him.
