Without going down or going to hospital?

A good mate has a nasty fella after him and I'm wondering what the best thing to do is. You can avoid someone but that is no guarantee and may not last forever. I just wondered if any of the street wise bluebirds on here may be able to offer some good advice on what to do if you get cornered? Bear in mind this fella is huge!

I would run if he was much bigger than me it's foolish to try and fight someone who is bigger and stronger than you.

Well he's got 3 choice's really. Either get the police involved, leave the area, or my personal choice.... find the fella before the bloke finds him, and smash a baseball bat over his kanister. The worse thing he can do is try to avoid him indefinitely, that will just cause him more stress. If I thought for one moment someone was out to do me serious physical harm, I'd rather take control of the situation, jump in my car, go find the person and hammer the fun out of him with a blunt object, and then take my chances in court. If hes a real hard man then he wouldn't press charges anyway, but he'd know not to fuk with you again....... He'd have the scars to remind him

Basically its because he's seeing a woman who dumped this guy ages ago but he's obsessed! My mate has not done anything wrong, I think this bloke needs to get a life and move on, personally if a woman ditched me I would move on so I don't get it! So a woman is involved, no surprise! So now its quite simple if he really cares about her he has got to stand his ground or his life will be hell. Personally I would rather have a go and lose than let someone walk all over me so it's grow some big balls time for your mate

Make the police aware of the whole situation make sure he logs everything ,obtain the police officer's name record the conversation and take out a court injunction against the half wit.I am assuming here if he is giving your mate grief at some time he would have given the girl the same treatment. Chances are the guy has form.

Always start going down this track and make it aware to the opponent.

Most aggression is just all words but never take that as a final solution. Some guys are just mentally unstable enough to realise how stupid their actions are. I always think of the saying from some political leader. Cant remember his name but it went like this "Remove the man you remove the problem".

Seems like most people cannot see that this is a very serious problem, how many times have you read in the paper about an ex killing his ex and also her new boyfriend, don't want to alarm you but these things happen and you just cannot tell who will do what. My advise is to tell the police, although that does not guarantee anything, it is prudent to get their advice

Your mate "wink wink" needs to grow a set of balls and go deal with it then, and if he's not prepared to have a go over this girl, then perhaps he don't think enough of her, and maybe should tell her to fukoff. Not many girls are worth the hassle. And if its a relatively new relationship, and he ain't got kids with her, then show her the door......she probably thinks he's a pussy anyway, for not standing up for her. To be fair that makes good sense from a self preservation perspective.The only thing I was thinking if you land the first one and go on to give the guy a good kicking it might not look good from a legal perspective. They do say the best form of defence is attack mind.

My advice would be, if it's at all realistic, to approach this bloke on his own in a public place in the cold light of day and have a chat with him, explain your situation, thankfully the vast majority of normal people are perfectly decent people one to one, you may just find that its all just rumour anyway, or he might just have enough brains to realise he's being a bit of a dick.

The one thing to check is this girl's feelings towards the guy and her attitude to violence. She may be the type who loves to see a gladiatorial battle over her. If it feels like that, just kick her into touch.
