Ok if this is true and he has a preferred list what standard of player can we expect and further more what crap is on the second choice list, surely no better than we already have, or maybe the list consists of up and coming players from the lower leagues. I am worried about next season I think mid table at best.

I know its true as Slade told this first hand to a reporter I know and trust.
Murphy is on the first list which is a small list.
Slade would prob prefer not to touch the 2nd list as it means he never got his original targets.

My opinion,I think we will struggle as well next season,but we never know.

Roy? Why are you worried? We can do well with these players in order for us to make the playoffs. We won't finish mid table.

If Tan gives slade 4m to buy a 32 year old the he is more of an idiot than we thought.

Id hope he gives him limited funds to be honest and cut out cloth accordingly.

If we get Daryl Murphy will walk the league.

I think Tan will already have a figure in mind to trust Slade with.
Whether that's 4,5 or even 8 mill nobody really knows as yet but anything over 2 million for Murphy at his age & with no sell on value would be crazy.

What standard of players will we be expecting ? Well let's put it this way it's going to be a long hard season. And Tan is selling everyone with any worth so why would he spend 4 mill on a player ?
