' 12 POINT DEDUCTION,THEN A FURTHER 15 POINT DEDUCTION '

" It would mean two seasons of pain "

Football League clubs will no longer be able to evade all but a tiny of a fraction of their debts to unsecured creditors under new rules.

Any club flouting the new rules would a face a total of 15 point deduction in the season after they enter the insolvency process.
It would mean two seasons of pain as the League is also introducing a hardened,12 point automatic penalty for any club going in to administration, up from the present 10 point deduction.

Totally unfair when teams like Leicester, swansea and palace who used cva to avoid paying debts in days before points deductions are now flourishing. What the fa should do is make all clubs who used cva to avoid Debts start next season with a 15 point penalty. Also clubs like ours, Bolton and Chelsea with unsustainable debts should be punished in a similar way.

Retrospective punishments could cripple the entire league! I do agree that it's sad that such bad mismanagement of finances has reaped rewards for some clubs. I feel sorry for the clubs that have done it right. Glad to see harsher punishments coming in. Clubs shouldn't be allowed to possess unsustainable debts either. It's a dangerous game letting clubs have so much freedom.

Still waiting to see what punishment QPR will receive. Slap on the back no doubt.

The difference between us is that you're stuck in your attic correcting grammar whereas I've had a great time and heading home on the train and will continue when home. I bet you're a barrel of laughs to be with.

You make a lot of assumptions. Someone who has to say how great a time they are having, in my experience, is trying to convince themselves of this.

For the record I don't have an attic.

Don't need to convince anybody as the people who know me on here know. Are you looking for a friend?

If your intention is too correct posters on their grammar, then no, it wasn't error free. The sentence should have began with 'I'. And there should have been a comma after 'anybody'. Buthey nooneis purfect is they! :laughing6:

Your use of too was not in the correct context.

The correct context is Brighton Hove Albion should f**k off back to his own team's message and you should too.

FFS - what is it with all this slagging off of each other? not on thread subject?

I understand proper debate on a thread but why do some have to just snipe at other peoples posts?

It spoils the debate and just ends up as point scoring of each other in a really silly way.

This thread has just descended into bickering "tit for tat".

It just stifles the debate - and We should all be for - constructive criticism.

Brighton Hove Albion laid into my tongue in cheek post about grammar so I went through all his recent posts and corrected his spelling and grammar. If you can't beat them join them and all that.

I have an English Language 'A' Level, and have been known to write the occasional article for my employers newsletter and have had the occasional poem published too.

I am therefore offering my services as a tutor to any incompetents out there who wish to have their posts proof-read prior to the posts being posted.

I charge £5.00 per sentence.
