My favourite band

Watched a bit of their set at Cardiff Castle on the Internet tonight, couldn't watch it all as I was working - very good showing.

Anyone else see it?

Who are the one band/singer you'd love to see perform, even if you've already seen them?

The first half of the set was all their holy bible stuff, which I'm not fussed on. But the second half was all their big well known hits like designed for life, stole the sun from my heart ect, which was great and really got the crowd going......cardiff castle is a great backdrop for a gig, fair play. The crowd really got going in the second half of the set

Love to see Sir Tom perform again.

Manics before the Wales v Italy game were amazing though.

I can't think of many bands I'd pay to watch these days.....I'd love to go back in time when bands like the who, and the stones pink floyd, fleetwood mac were at their best. I'd have loved to have seen them bands back in the day

They cant compete with a real rock band like AC DC

The stone roses looked a decent gig. Don't know what they are like now, or even if they are still going, but heard some stories about their gig in Newport years ago and it sounded quite mental lol, so would probably give them a go

Cardiff Castle is an amazing venue for bands and it should be chocka with shows. Manics not really my cup of tea but they are a talent and I'm always chuffed when Welsh bands break through. For a land of music lovers, we have woefully few venues and decent gigs and there's a clear appetite for it. ACDC next for me in Dublin.

Yeah, they deffo need to replace the motorpoint with a 10-15 thousand indoor arena. I think it will happen in the next few years. They missed a trick with the new ice rink down the bay. Could have designed it in a way, so it could be expanded into a 10k arena for music and other indoor events in the summer months

Saw meat loaf one in the castle once just saying.

They looked a bit out of puff last night!
Faster sounded more like Slower!

Holy Bible stuff is better music but their newer plastic stuff sounds better in gigs like that.
Got to love them though.

I have a fairly eclectic taste in music. I have managed to see Tiesto live at the CIA and that was absolute carnage. Never seen so many people so drunk in one place before. I would also love to have seen Pink Floyd in there pomp as well. High Hopes is my favourite song and even though that came after their peak, it got me into Pink Floyd and all their other stuff so would have loved to have seen them live back then.

Yeah, they were phenomenal when I saw them live. Stuntman live is incredible.

I've seen artic monkeys a few times, brilliant band to watch live.

Ac/Dc..Floyd,Bad Company,Stones,Free,Eagles,Zep,Maiden,saw The Damned in Exeter the other nite,really enjoyed them.

Would have to be the Floyd but alas they'll never play again so I've missed the boat

Ive seen two of my favourite bands, the Roses and Primal Scream and both were immense!
Glasgow Green two years ago was by far my best ever gig!

Not fussed on the Manics tbh. They looked & sounded weak I thought.
