Ambitious MK Dons Move For Le Fondre?
Vital Football
Friday 5th June 2015
Adam Le Fondre isn't leaving Cardiff to join Bolton permanently as the asking price was beyond them so I can't see that MK Dons would have the funds required for this so reports of them having an interest certainly would make it an 'ambitious move' wouldn't it?
He scored only three-goals in his 24 appearances before being allowed to join Bolton in January, where he did enjoy success, made his £2.5m signing from Reading a move that didn't work out.
Russell Slade's willing to part with the 28-year-old permanently but we also want to recoup as much of the fee paid as we can but I can't see how the side promoted from League 1 last season could afford him as a move for Brentford's Will Grigg failed as they couldn't match a £1m valuation for him.
Le Fondre leaving the Cardiff City Stadium for a loan with MK Dons would seem the best chance of them doing a deal here but are we really likely to loan him out again? If we can't sell him wouldn't we be better off just using him ourselves and giving him a proper chance to prove what he can do?
Moving on is what Le Fondre wants though as he's not settled in Wales.
On a totally different note, as I suppose it needs 'some coverage', a photograph reportedly showing Sean Morrison taking a dump in the street has been posted on Twitter - classy....

At least he will be at home with his family and friends so won't be pining for the north west.
Oh, hang on....

Exactly what I'm thinking. Le Fondre has done everything he can to engineer a move back up north. If he does a Chris Burke and goes to a club that's still nowhere near his home area, he will go down even further in my estimation. We don't want unhappy players like Le Fondre here anyway.
