LEEDS UNITED
Why Leeds United or MK Dons should sign Adam Le Fondre
BY RYAN INGHAM ⋅ THURS JUNE 4, 2015 ⋅
With a minor successful loan spell at Bolton behind him, Adam Le Fondre is now looking for a new club to give him a chance.
Le Fondre has pedigree in the Championship
The on-loan Cardiff striker was set to be offered the opportunity to stay on at the Macron Stadium but financial issues have caused the club to stop their interest in the forward.
Now at the age of 28, Le Fondre is said to want away from his spell at Cardiff, having spent most of his time on the bench or out of the side.
The former Rochdale, Rotherham United and Reading striker has always been one of the Football League’s top goal threats and has proved his goal scoring form at Bolton this season, scoring 8 goals in 17 appearances in a side that lacks any real attacking purpose.
Known for his attacking instincts and ability to play off the shoulder of defenders, Le Fondre has been a main striker for most clubs he has joined and is set to be in the market once again.
Le Fondre could be a perfect addition for the newly promoted sides who will be looking to add Championship experience to their sides. The trio of MK Dons, Bristol City and Preston are all in need of a new striker and with the availability of Le Fondre clubs should pounce at the opportunity to bring him in.
Former club Reading could also be a good option for Stockport born striker who spent three years with the Royals, scoring 41 goals in 110 appearances for the club.
Other clubs that could look to bring in Le Fondre include Ipswich, Boro, Charlton and Leeds United, who had previously attempted to bring the striker in before his move to Reading.

He had chances to score at Cardiff so Slade can't be blamed.
Maybe it's Tan's fault somehow.
