' SEAN MORRISON '

24 year old Morrison signed for City from Reading in August for £2.5m.

He played 41 games for City during last season scoring 6 goals, his best goal tally for a season in his career.

When he signed many Reading fans were disappointed to be losing the 6'4" centre half who is eligible to play for England and Republic of Ireland.

City fans felt the club what made a good signing at the time but do you feel the same after a near full season of seeing him play.

My opinion is that Morrison has not lived up to my expectations and I think that had Ben Turner not been injured then I believe that Morrison would not have played as many games as he did for City.

Should the club hold on to Manga then I hope that he partners Turner next season and not Morrison, am I being harsh or do you agree ?

Manga and Turner for me, although Morrison came up with a few goals, and although he did get better as the season progressed, still makes too many mistakes

I thought Morrison was a top signing when we made it but he's not really impressed me. Can he turn it around like Hudson did? I'm not sure. Worth one more season before we consider selling.

Fans go on about Turner and McNaughton's passing ability or should I say lack of it. But for my money, Morrison is even worse.

Not a brilliant season but those 6 goals certainly helped. I think he can come good this season and if an acceptable offer for Magna did materialise then I would be happy with a Morrison/Turner partnership.

I have got to be honest and say I really enjoy your negative slant on everything. I'm not having ago just saying the way you word things is really funny. :D

As Joe Pesci might have said " I am glad that I amuse you"

I agree.

Do we still have young Ben Nugent in the background too?

Morrison I don’t realty rate, personally I prefer Manga, Connolly, Turner before him. In some games he looks decent but that’s mainly against more direct teams, anything on the floor and he looks completely lost. Still quite young thought so it would be the end of the world if he was used as back up.

I feel the same way :thumbright: I'm not a Morrison fan.

He is a defender that will improve in time and has returned a decent goal tally for a defender but he is nowhere near the price we bought for him which was another clueless decision from Ole.

A clumsy, cumbersome carthorse who makes countless, costly, glaring, basic mistakes to continuously put us on the back foot. Luckily for Morrison, he had the magnificent Manga alongside him last season, but we will need a lot better if we want to challenge next season. It also infuriates me when he chooses to put his hand up to appeal for offside when he loses his man. Try chasing back your man and put a block in, Turner does!

Let's keep Manga, Turner and Connolly, sell Morrison and bring in a good young centre back with potential to replace him. Manga, Turner and Connolly are more than good enough for us next season.

In my opinion, I think that if Théophile-Catherine stays with us next season, I think that Slade should move him to centre back to play alongside Manga as they are both quality centre backs and Turner doesn't have what it takes to play with side aiming for the play-offs next season. Also they can make our side consistent within each game and I believe that if we play them every game, we can get promoted via play-offs and we will still have more success to achieve. We can keep regular clean sheets with those two at the back as well. So I believe that Sean Morrison might as well go to someone like Leeds on loan to gain some experience at a lower club level. I have faith in all Cardiff players but when it comes to centre backs, I have to go with those two european stars. :bluebird: :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluebird: :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Did you say European stars ? For a start, Manga is African. And the French guy is hardly a "star".

That's not what I meant. Manga has played in Europe before. I call players that have played in Europe European stars.
