" ANTHONY PILKINGTON? " Hmmm?
Injury prone and was when we signed him.
But can be a good addition when fit
' Anthony Pilkington will be a big influence next season if can stay fit for the whole season '
We paid approx £1mill.
There are 2 years left on Pilkingtons contrant.
Approx wage £18,000-£20,000 a week.
Anthony Pilkington was out for five months injured last season and at his previous club Norwich City it was virtually similar.
But when Pilkington came back he was growing in confidence and his quality was starting to show
Opinions
Would you sell Pilkinghton?
Would you keep Pilkinghton?
Do you rate Pilkinghton?

I would keep him we were on a bit of a role when he was in the side but that's the downside that he is injury prone but I would keep him nonetheless he is quality.

Rydo,I agree he has quality, but if he has anymore injuries next season, then he will not be reliable so then it will be time to move him on. Yes give him next season

Pilkington?! Where did the H come from?!

The teams loss of form and motivation after he was injured was significant, although I don't think we realised at first how much h e made the team tick.

Far too injury prone, should never have signed him, but then again, we are Cardiff.

He has a sick note culture everywhere he has played
When we plan on a small squad I think he is a gamble and a liability

I think he loves himself too much - argued with Doyle for ages over taking a penalty when Doyle was the nominated pen taker, speaks volumes for me that he is a KP type, all about me, me, me.

To me if the right offer came in sell, just cant see anyone offering us much for him.I do agree he is good on his day though.

£2m offer or above, I'd sell personally. Any less then we keep him for a year and see how he goes.
Mon Jun 01, 2015 10:33 am
depends - I did like him but if we go and get 2 pacey, creative wingers then no. Otherwise we have to keep him surely?

Quality player. Got to be a regular. But....as my Hudds friend told me when we signed him 'hamstrings like elastic'!

Good player but to injury prone and on way to much money - If we could get rid we should

Our best winger by a mile, but his injuries worry me, it depends on what the physio thinks his chances of an injury free season are ???
