Help wanted from fellow bluebird So!!

Me and my mate Chris Jones are running the London marathon next April for 2 different charities. In order for me to be able to run with the British heart foundation I need to raise £2000. It's a lot of money for someone who's never raised funds before but I will do it. I've chosen the bhf because my step father recently passed away aged 44 from a heart infection called endocarditis so I'm running it for him aswell as the charity itself. Race for life is female only?

I may do the same for it. I've entered the ballot for the cheap entry at all 30 odd quid. But judging by online comments I shouldnt get my hopes up.
