A quality player but cancer-related illness has kept him out for so long. Who is to say he might not need more treatment further down the line? Sounds harsh, I know, but got to look at it from a business sense. Fully fit, he'd be too good for Championship. He's too good for Newcastle fully fit!

He loves Newcastke to bits so I doubt he would move. Totally respect him for what he has done in life, what a trooper!

Think he could do a job for us.
He's just been released by Newcastle, so would be free.

Think he would be great here good skills and a battler who has lots of experience wages possibly the issue and probably still wants top flight football
