Plenty of decent free transfers

Fri May 29, 2015 10:09 am

Even though I am interested in the rumours linking us with Gayle and Murphy, there have also been some free agents that have been released that could do a job for us.

Paul Anderson- Surprising,y released by Ipswich. Looked decent when I saw him and proved he had an eye for goal at vital moments in the play offs. Could bring a bit of pace into the team and challenge Noone.

Joey Barton- Would be a great signing I think. We need a but if still and when QPR lost 6-0 to City you could hear him urging his team-mates on, shows he is a leader.

Jermaine Beckford- Doubt this one would come off but would defo take him. Proven goalscorer who didn't commit his future to Preston last week.

Jos Hoovield- Decent centre back who got released by Southampton. I reckon he could do a job at this level and could be a hidden gem like Barnett in our promotion season.

Yousuff Mulumbu- Doubt he would come but would be a real coup if we could land him. Would add class and steel.

Jamie Ward- Got real quality and I couldn't believe Derby released him. Pace and an eye for goal, just what we need.

Craig Davies- Not prolific but tore us to sure ads at CCS this season. Would probably be a fringe player but definitely worth a punt.

All I can think of! If there is any more stick it down below, but you get the idea. I woudk take most of those on the list. The are cheap gems that could do a job. :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :sladein:

"Free" is a very loose term.

The real free transfers are players that their clubs released due to ability.

However, the "Free" transfers that have any sort of ability have been released because their wages are high. Thereby making them extremely expensive for a, so called, free transfer.
