I posted a topic regarding Murphy last week saying we bid 725 k if I'm correct & that we are chasing him. I got accused of making things up & basically got laughed at. I'm not saying that it was true that we bid only 725k for him as I was just passing on what I was told but I was told in confidence that we are definetly chasing him & as you all see now that we are heavly linked with him.

Can we still laugh if we think the rumour going around actually started as a result of your post?

I posted regarding a 725k bid. Didn't see anything on social media mentioning that fee.

I know that Murphy is getting in a bit but if we did bid 725K for him then I see that as an insult.

It's alright the club trying to get a bargain but realistically they are not going to capture the Championships top scorer for that price. It may be an opening bid but even if that was doubled I could not see Ipwich selling their prize asset.
