Cardiff City set to complete deals for Everton duo
BY SEAN MAKIN ⋅
Friday 29th May, 2015 ⋅
Everton duo Tyias Browning and Brendan Galloway could be sent out on loan to Cardiff City next season.
The Bluebirds are among potential suitors as Toffees boss Roberto Martinez looks to send the defenders out on loan to gain first-team football.
Cardiff have a good relationship with Everton after giving Conor McAleny first-team experience whilst on loan at the Cardiff City Stadium last season.
However, the Welsh side face competition from Bolton Wanderers and Brentford, who also have links with the Goodison Park outfit.
Both Browning and Galloway have featured for Everton in the season just finished but Martinez is keen for academy products to gain experience out on loan.
21-year-old Browining is a central defender and has been with the Mersyside club since the age of 10. The England Under-21 international has made two appearances for Everton and also had a loan spell at Wigan Athletic in January 2014.
19-year-old Galloway can play in defence or midfield and joined Everton for an undisclosed fee from MK Dons last summer. Born in Zimbabwe, Galloway began his career with the Dons after progressing through the youth system and made 10 appearances for the first-team.
The youngster has also featured for the England Under-17, 18 and 19 sides.

Why are we doing this , it just blocks our own youngsters for first team oppurtunities ,
The likes of oshilajia and tutonda should be introduced first , what is the point of our youngsters development if we are helping Everton develop their players

I agree, loans should only be commissioned with a right-to-buy clause.
What happened to the new buzz words "everything we do will be commercially viable" ? There is no profit to be made if the talented youngsters are owned by other clubs
