Yeah a half volley from the half way line. One of the best goals I have scored.

Was not he the player who was being interviewed for MOTD on the pitch after the game that some cop came and interrupted the interview demanding he got of the pitch?

Nope not the one I was thinking of but even so a cracking goal.

It was Andy King who was being interviewed after the game and a copper got them off the pitch
I was a massive Liverpool fan in those days, so was gutted by that King goal. It was a rare Merseyside Derby win for Everton back then.

I remember him playing at Ninian park for Aldershot in mid to late 80s

He played in the FA Cup game at Ninian Park in 1977, along with Dave Jones, for Everton. Remember it well. RIP Andy.
