I'm essentially with maccydee. Now we're back to blue I can tolerate Tan as the owner. There are a lot more volatile owners that could come in. I'm not even against this whole new tighter budget approach (unless it is purely for Tan to line his own pockets). I will never be Tan's biggest fan but be careful what you wish for in this ruthless game.

Just drove by the CCS seems to be lots of Rolls Royce's and Bentleys - looks like potential owners queuing to buy the City - Not

The way I see it boys is that at the moment things could be a lot, lot worse.

I too hate Tan for what he did with the colour change, badge change, etc and the way some of the appointments, deals, etc were handled. And will always say that what he did from just a business point of view was close to suicide for CCFC.

We all know that Tan is not a football man, but as pointed out by others, neither is Abramovich or Huw the spew and all decisions go through them as owners.

But looking at other clubs/owners at the moment (leeds, blackpool, wigan) it could be a lot, lot worse for us - at least we have our colour and badge back (something that never should have happened in the first place). Hopefully we can get the passion back bit by bit and stadium rocking once more.

Also there is no doubt that ole and others spent/sactioned vast amounts of money on players/wages, etc - at least we are getting the outgoings bill down to a somewhat sustainable level.

What if Tan left tomorrow? Left us right in the shit? Although he has said that he would not leave the club until it was on a level footing. I don't see other million/billionaires queuing up to take us on. Do you ?

If you are an eternal pessimist then yes you could sum up Tan’s ownership like that. Of course I could say in response that he “listened” to the fan base and returned our colours/bluebird, he took us to the Premiership were our fan numbers definitely increased (despite the rebrand and relegation) and he has kept the club afloat with his own personal cash.

It is a matter of balance and as others have said I would prefer the devil we know. After all Tan wouldn’t rebrand us again, but possibly a new owner could?

Rather than holding petty grudges over matters which have been resolved, fans and I mean all fans should show some passion towards getting our team promoted again rather just moaning over the past.
