Good coach, has become tainted by his transfer activity this season, very wasteful

he spunked over £100m up the wall last summer alone, and showed that there was one reason they did so well in 2013/14 and that was luis suarez. take him out and they are not as good as the likes of chelsea and arsenal.
his recruitment has been appalling. but he is a good coach, he clearly needs to reassess his recruitment policy.

How long has he been there?
They are regressing as a club in some ways. Some of his best players have been other people's signings. (Suarez, Henderson) notwithstanding Coutinho who is pretty decent.

I'm a massive fan of Rodgers but I have to agree. He messed up big time and didn't replace Suarez with a massive player who could influence the team from the middle or the top of the pitch. They should have splashed £50-60m on Reus or someone of that calibre.

they thought that balotelli would be that man but thats a gamble that didnt pay off.
the rest of his signings have been awful. would reus or a player of that calibre have gone to liverpool? probably not but mandzukic was available for less than half the figure you quoted.
