' A bid for Kenwyne Jones? '

Bournemouth news

Tues 19th May 2015

After impressing during his loan spell at Bournemouth, Manager Eddie Howe is set to make a bid for big Trinidad & Tobago striker Kenwyne Jones.

After winning this seasons championship, Eddie Howe is currently looking for a big striker to help them with their assault on the premier league.

While on loan at Bournemouth, Kenywne Jones impressed Eddie Howe and his coaches during training, he also scored a vital goal at Ipswich.

Fingers crossed - would be a good one to offload from the wage bill.

We would save around about £1.5 mill next seaso,just on Jones and I dont think he is worth any where near that money.

I like Kenwyne and despite his non contribution during our Premiership relegation I thought he started this season very well and did the best he could given the circumstances.

However, football is turning a corner not just hear but every where since FFP came into play. His reported wages don't show value for money and if Bournemouth wish to sign him and pay those wages then I say good luck to both of them.

Bournemouth are after Ricky Lambert. Jones will go to a Championship club, if anywhere. maybe Qpr when Austin leaves. Afraid he's not up to the Premier and Howe knows that.

I'm happy to drive the lazy bugger down to Bournemouth to offload him :thumbup:

Im a big fan of Kenwen, more of a loss him going that Whitts for me
