did drug testing ruin the May vs Pac fight?

Wed May 20, 2015 6:18 am

Floyd wanting blood testing done days before the fight, where Pac only would agree to 24 days initially. After all the insinuations, Pac decided to fight clean to detriment of the show.

I do not believe a rotator cuff injury is enough to perform as bad as Pac did, the soreness would be after the adrenalin faded, not during the fight.

It really took the sting out of this contest IMO. It would be naive to think Floyd has never worked around the sport's very lacklustre doping tests that are easy to get through. Floyd knew he did not need this fight both on it, his boxing prowess is better than Pacs. It just left the show without any umpfh.

If you do the research that you will know water-soluble based testosterones clear within 10 days, creams even quicker, they should of fought this fight under the normal regulations. It is what the public would of wanted.

A very cynical view, but the lack of entertainment was shocking, can't even bear to watch it on youtube after 1 min of 'action'

Just read this, mildly amusing

Tough Mudders defeated by normal conversation

INEXPLICABLY popular assault course event Tough Mudder has introduced a new obstacle that involves having a conversation about non mud-based things.

The team-building physical endurance event already featured challenges including ‘Arctic Enema’, ’Deeply Unpleasant Swamp’, ‘Shitload of Mud’ and ‘Yet Another Shitload of Mud’.

However participants have described the new obstacle ‘Basic Social Skills’ as virtually impossible.

38-year-old exercise obsessive Stephen Malley said: “You go into a hut and there’s a person in there with whom you must have a conversation about something other than physical endurance, feeling the burn or hydration levels.

“Usually all I do is bang on about Tough Mudder, or mountain biking at a push, so my mind went completely blank.

“I was on the floor holding my head, trying to make the words come out.”

Recruitment consultant Mary Fisher said: “I am obsessed with achievement, however pointless that achievement may be, so it’s mega tough to talk about non-competitive things.

“I tried initiating a conversation about fish, but hit a wall when I realised the only fish I know is cod.

“They need to replace this challenge with something more enjoyable, like a long underwater tunnel full of disgusting filth that you have to blindly crawl through.”

UK just wants normal telly back

ORDINARY Britons have demanded politicians stop being on the television.

Research by the Institute for Studies found that ‘return of normal telly’ was top priority for 74 per cent of potential voters, ahead of a stronger economy and safeguarding the NHS.

Office manager Nikki Hollis said: “When I turn on the television in the evening I want to see a medical drama, chefs or something sad but uplifting about vets.

“Instead it’s people in suits looking at graphs, or some ’ordinary family’ describing their confusion about who to vote for.

“If any party promises to wrap this up early so we can have our entertainment back, they’ve got my vote.”

Plumber Tom Booker said: “I get enough debates over who’s going to empty the dishwasher, so I’m damned if I want to listen to David Cameron and the other ones niggling at each other.

“Politicians are ruining this country by making everyone turn to Netflix for their entertainment. Families used to stare at a big screen together but now everyone’s on their own laptop or tablet, it’s sad really.”

Last one....

Bombing Libya then f**king off was the responsible thing to do, says Cameron

DAVID Cameron has insisted bombing Libya and then forgetting about it was an act of statesmanship.

The prime minister stressed there is a time for not interfering in the sovereign affairs of another country, and that time is after you have dropped a lot of bombs on it.

He said: “My critics say that after toppling Gaddafi we should have sent in troops to rebuild the nation, but I find it’s never a good idea to stick around somewhere after you’ve done some bombing.

“We had, quite simply, done as much as we could do from 35,000ft and didn’t want to outstay our welcome with the good people of Libya, many of whom have turned out to be utterly terrifying.”

When pressed on whether he would bomb or invade any Middle Eastern or north African countries, Ex Labour leader Ed Miliband said: “Well, obviously you’ve got to do at least one.

“But I’d make it a nice easy one like Bahrain or Chad.”

What a joke. Mayweather is a different class. I thought Pactards would stop crying and stop making idiotic claims once the fight had been done but its just got worse and the excuses more desperate. Anyone with a clue knew Manny had no chance to start.

Pacquiao is full of poo. If he wasn't fit he shouldn't have fought. He deemed himself fit enough to fight and the show went on. The rest is just sour grapes.

I agree he should not of fought. But if you was in his shoes with the tickets sold and the pay per views sold then would you be the one to call it off ? But since he has shown sour grapes. He was soundly beaten and I don't think even fully fit he would not touch mayweather unfortunetly.
