Wolves set to make £3 million bid for Cardiff City striker?

Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to offer Cardiff City £3 million for striker Joe Mason, reports the Birmingham Mail.
Wolves boss Kenny Jackett is keen to add to his attacking options next season with the 24-year-old one of his top targets.
Cardiff manager Russell Slade wants to keep Mason in the Welsh capital and even recalled him from a loan spell at Bolton Wanderers this season to give him a run in the first-team.
But Slade is looking to rebuild his squad after a disappointing season in the Championship and the money from the Mason sale could help with that process.
Mason joined the Bluebirds in a £250,000 deal from Plymouth Argyle in July 2011 and played a significant part in the Cardiff side that won the Championship in 2013.
But the striker rarely featured in the Premier League and fell out of favour under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who sent him to Bolton on loan twice.
During his time at Cardiff, Mason has scored 19 goals in 55 appearances.
