They were a great laugh but it's not just us moving on, football has moved on, it's now much more family orientated, and thus we have to accommodate it, the German 'safe standing' arrangement seems a good compromise.

i used to love going away midweek in a transit van to some ramshakled ground singing our hearts out proud to be city 
i know things have moved on new stadium new breed of fans etc and we have reached heights that we couldn't have dreamed of 10 years ago but i much prefere the old days when we were shit
