Heads up, City Store - May be worth a visit

Mon May 18, 2015 1:46 pm

Just back from Asda and popped over to the CCFC store to find it closed but a with a merchandise booth outside. Came back with a £35 grey and blue (no nasty red) hoodie with pick and shovel emblem and CF11 on the arm for £5 and a £20 black leather wallet for £3. Original cost for both £55, just cost me £8.

There's not much on the merchandise stall (mainly red) but anything you cant see can still be bought. The girl went into the store to grab the hoodie so check on line first and the chances are it will even cheaper on site. The hoodie i bought was £10 online sale price but £5 on site.

Thinking of going back and clearing out all there leather wallets at £3 a pop and selling on Ebay.

I heard they are clearing it all out at less than they paid for it all.

They must be mate, I didn't see anything on the merchandise stall over £5 and there were plenty of children's kits, white and red, but the only blue were3/4 pairs of shorts all age 13 to 14, wallets, bedding, ponchos, etc.

At £5 the hoody can come to work with me and i paid over £20 for a black leather wallet just the other week in NEXT so for £3 that was a no brainier.

But generally looks like they cant give away the 'lucky red'

Are they selling any of those silver jumpers the staff wear?

Was there on Saturday, all the retro stuff has gone and the only merchandise there is the red shit. Loads of it  in fact masses of it cheap as chips, in fact they were more or less giving it away. My Mrs said to me she couldn't believe it was so cheap and I said I couldn't give a toss if they was giving it away its red shit with a shit red badge. The bloke by me didn't look impressed at my comments as he was kitting out his daughters. But when have I given a toss ? :laughing6: :bluebird: :bluescarf: :bluebird: :bluebird: :bluescarf: :bluebird: :bluescarf: :bluebird: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

Just a thought, but will Adidas be taking over the running & management of the store, similar to how Joma operated when they were our shirt sponsors?

Mate, a leather wallet is a leather wallet, the badge is black and so small its almost not noticeable. I was joking about buying them all up personally but i don't doubt for a second these would sell for a lot more than £3 to the mass market, mock all you like

They may as well give out the red stuff for free, no one in the right mind would actually pay money for any of it now that we're that we're a blue club again
