Vincent Tan is fully aware that there is an agenda on social media and in the local media to try and get rid of Russell Slade but Tan is not listening to the noise being generated.

Tan is adamant that Russell Slade will be the manager at the start of next season.

Carl, Im 100% not a Slade fan, but I think the media are hounding Slade and its like a witch hunt.
Unfair in my opinion, Slade deserves at least some Respect.

If he listened to what City fans wanted all the time there would be crazy changes every week.

We need stability. We bemoan the changes in CEO's etc. need stability.

Slade should be given a chance.

Spoke to a women today, she said her and her husband dont go anymore because the football is so bad.

I think the away performances at the end of the season were good enough to give him a chance for next season hope he is backed in the transfer window ,I would trust him more than malky and ole with the clubs cash

My opinion is that a Cardiff City is reduced to a long term loan investment and all Tan require is stability. No need for ambition, promotion, or even passion. All he need is to generate enough to make payments or a byer comes in and makes it worth while.

Fully agree with this. I hate the football we have played under Slade and want him gone but I can't see him going anywhere soon as he has done what was asked of him by Tan. If Slade can get results at home like he managed to do away from home then who knows what's possible with some new signings. I'm not convinced at all but feel he deserves a chance to show what he can do

Not a fan of RS but Mr Tan is right not listening to social media as most of them dont go to games so there opinion dont count.

What he needs is someone with experience of running a football club at the higher level to give him advice, this is where he has made the biggest mistakes, getting bad advice from people has been his biggest problem.

As for RS being manager time will tell, in my opinion he dont have it.

Next season is my 50 years not able to buy my season ticket yet as i am off on my cruise sunday to cellebrate 30 years married but will renew before season starts.

Peter Edwards Expectation levels are what gets fans excited, maybe most fans expectations for next season, is not based on a return to the premier league.Is Slade the man to get us there, personally i don't think so.

Tan won't get rid of him as he as done EVERYTHING asked of him.

I believe Slade deserves an opportunity to have a crack next season on the basis that he came into our club that was thoroughout in a terrible mess and of none of which was his doing,we are all aware he was brought in to undertake the unsavoury tasks left by his predecessors,we needed somebody to straighten the infrastructure out and financially put us on an even keel for the long term good of the club so lets give the guy a sporting chance.

Maybe a few months without the pressure of having to clean up past follies left over from Tans ex employees.

Then and only then can we judge him with non blinkered biased views.

Speaking of biased views. Who have been painting this picture of the terrible mess the club was in when he came in?
Periods of transitions. Difficult tasks and so on.. Gullible

The way I see it is, Slade has had his chance.

He's been in charge since 6th October and had 35 games. His style of football is the worst I've seen Cardiff play, results are so inconsistent and there's no way we're going to get promoted next season if he's in charge.

We need a proven manager in the Championship with the right backing from Tan, only then we can compete. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen.

Wanting to get rid of a manager who is clearly not good enough is not a witch hunt,its a necessity

From what I hear Slade is on peanuts compared to other managers at this level!!! Of course he's not going to replace him if he hasn't got any interest left

Slade is more 'one of us' than most of the big names and foreign coaches, it would be one hell of a story.

In which case I hope 'the fans' are wrong.

At the moment I reckon the management of the club should be more concerned about getting the squad reduced and getting us in a sustainable shape than bringing more in.

And I agree with the idea that get rid of the ones not contributing and on big wages and replace them with the right characters and we CAN challenge.

People who put in little money and effort other than on social media and who demand a say

He won't turn, why should he, empty stadium, team playing poor football under a poor manager with players who would look better placed on a park pitch.
