How many games did we play the opposition off the park? Did we ever look like scoring a shed full of goals? The majority of performances were abysmal.
Slade is clearly going to stay so the only hope is that 3/4 decent players are brought in and performances improve. Based on what we saw over the past 6 months how anyone could say that we will be pushing for promotion. It's great to be positive back at the same time we need to be realistic!
next season hasn't even begun so cannot be anything until we know our starting 11 as lots more coming and goings will happen! Wed May 13, 2015 4:26 pm

Bournemouth & Brentford players had ambition to be 'premiership wannabes' this season . Ours loving the life as pro footballers, I am sure every club sets out to sign players who aspire to become top players. Clearly, the management teams at the clubs you mentioned know what there doing.

Both clubs have very good managers playing attacking attractive football. We have Slade and we play dire football.

You will be disappointed, Slade is here for at least the next 10 months, unless we lost our opening 10 games in a row.
Slade has been allowed to organise and chose all our pre-season friendlies, organise City's trip to Holland, the training camp etc

Slade has been allowed to chose his main 2 players he wants money for to buy them.
Slade is getting on with Tans orders to drastically reduce the wage bill and that makes Tan very happy.
I am also told that the list of players that Slade & Tan will go through next week(approx 40 to look at) are players that Tan has also put on the list.
Tan knows if he was to sack Slade at this moment in time, a new manager would be more expensive, want his own squad and would want totally his own say.
So, lets just behind our team next season and you just never know, we might just be surprised and improve on this season![]()

Totally agree mate i'm not saying Slade is the answer as he's probably not but he was given mission impossible last season coming in with the attitude of the squad he inherited and our owner, all we can do is back him and judge him on his first 10 games, Orient scored 85 goals under Slade in their play off season only 4 short of the then champions Wolves so maybe he can play attacking football given thr chance?

) then we may stand a chance of improving but for me and many others, the 35 year love affair is over and we have come to our senses, money doesn;t grow on trees anymore, and if you have it, you spend it on something you enjoy doing - even if it is the pub watching sky sports soccer saturday (£30 on beer or £30 watching shite down the library)?
