" No Cardiff City Future future for Spanish striker "

Javi Guerra's, as things stand, will be back at the Cardiff City Stadium as he's still under contract but it's been made perfectly clear that he's not in Russell Slade's future plans and he's also made it relatively clear himself that he wants to stay in Spain.

A move that hasn't 'worked out' would be an understatement as far as the 33-year-olds time with Cardiff goes, with so much expected from him when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer brought him in, but his time with Malaga didn't go much better with that move unlikely to be made permanent.

Slade, in quotes carried by the BBC, expects him to go back to Spain, if a deal can't be agreed then we'll at least look to send him out on loan again.

'If we're all honest about the situation, Javier would love to get a club in Spain.

'But if that's not to be then we'll have a look again when he comes over and it may be a similar situation where there's a loan somewhere else again.'

The sooner an agreement is reached for him to move on the better....

I've followed his time at Malaga, just like I followed him before he signed for Cardiff. To say it didn't go well with Malaga is a bit unfair. With absolutely no match fitness he was only getting settled into the squad before he got injured. The later weeks he has been a regular starter for Malaga and scoring goals. His excellent movement is getting back to what it was, and his enthusiasm is growing. This is the Daehlie story all over again, where the player is frozen out, and Slade can say he dosent want to be here. Good enough to be a starter in a mid table la liga side, but not a championship side. That is both funny and sad at the same time.

The difference is, Daehli played but was ineffective. We know Daehli wasn't good enough. Guerra was given one chance to prove himself and was the worst player in a bad performance. We'll never know if he was good enough.
What you haven't had you won't miss, and Guerra falls into that category. :sladein:

Yes, Daehli had that terrible game against Millwall witch he will Allways be remembered for. Forgotten are the circles he run arround Chelsea  Slade certainly gave him a fair treatment for unsigned talent to adore :thumbright:
Would love for City to come to their senses and give Guerra a go!

I presume that you mean the Bournemouth game not the Port Vale game in which he played 80 minutes and was ok. If you do mean Bournemouth then are you serious? Worst player? Were you there? Did you see Gabiddon get caught out time and again? He was a scapegoat.
