Paul Cook is poised to become the new manager of Portsmouth.
Cook was in charge of Chesterfield on Sunday as they were knocked out of the League One play-offs following a 3-0 defeat at Preston.
League Two side Portsmouth were initially refused permission to speak to Cook in April following the departure of Andy Awford. However, they have offered the £250,000 release clause in the 48-year-old's contract and he is due to take over at the south coast club in the coming days.

I don't like Bellamy as a person, but he is certainly a winner and will make a good manager with a good experienced number 2 to keep him in control. Id take him over Slade now, with someone like Dutch Ray as his number 2
