An embarrassment to the Premier League this season with the squad they have!

I guess we'll be hearing a bit more from 'Stan' now, after a quiet spell where he's had nothing to boast about! ;)

Didn't some thing happen with qpr last season? They broke the football leagues FFP and didn't pay the fine as they were then run by premier league and the football league said if they didn't pay they would let be allowed back into the football league?
Or something like that? Anyone remember?

Aren't they due to pay a fine as soon as they return? Something they were able to avoid last season as they went up,

According to this 50m+ fine or they can't play in the championship

from what I gather they could be going into meltdown bit like Portsmouth!! its all the massive wages that they pay that is going to screw them! who is going to pay 50 or 60k a week for their players? :o really :digging2: as Fernandez!

Having not looked into it in any great details, what is the issue if Fernandez writes it off. Isn't that just what we want Tan to do. Or do they think it's only written off "on paper" and the club is still in debt to him?

its not the debt that's the problem its the income against expenditure and ffp as the wages are massive in comparison to income now not in premier! owner cannot put in money to subsidise it only as limited amount allowed!

Won't they have the parachute payment to help them offset the income?

They will for next season and onwards but I assume the fine is for irregularities that occurred last season.

It all makes good sense but there are going to be a few heavy casualties until it evens out. Its worrying that we could be one of those casualties.

think we have cost cutted enough to avoid problems, qpr have other problems and parachute payments wont clear up mess they are in, as been pointed out by others in this thread!

Goes to show that while some didn't like the clear out it had to be done, like it or not
