It's General Election day and candidates up and down the country have had their embarrassing middle names exposed. But what about our football stars? Here we look at their middle names.

Some are proud of them, some embarrassed, but most of us have them. Middle names, of course.

As the General Election results rolled in some of the lighter moments were hearing the returning officers reading out the full names of the politicians involved.

So that set us thinking, what about some of our favourite footballers at out top Welsh clubs and the managers and staff too?

What unfortunate moniker were the guys at Swansea City and Cardiff City actually saddled with when they were younger?

Sometimes it was more than one! Some of middle names are boring, some of them weird and some, in truth, are totally hilarious.

You think you know about your favourite players, like Peter Whittingham and Ashley Williams, but here comes the big test, do you know what their middle names actually are?
