Farage out!

Fri May 08, 2015 11:53 am

Best news of the night (apart from Scotland). Just hope it's the end of the narrow, bigoted and reactionary UKIP. He'll have to concentrate on Ewrop now, won't he?

Quite the opposite. Farage's 'one of the blokes down the pub' act took him and UKIP as far as he could. UKIP's vote share was slowly decreasing over the last few months and then stagnated. As a Kipper I don't hope he is elected to leadership again when there's a vote. I hope we get Suzanne Evans who'll back all the way to become the next female PM or Steven Woolfe who I'll proudly support all the way as the first black PM. Either of them would get my approval because they both ooze class, love Britain and are excellent and articulate speakers. Watch their interviews and you'll see this. Also, I'd love to see all the lunatic lefties then try to play the racism card with Steven or the sexism card with Suzanne. It would just undermine their quite obvious stupidity.

As a Kipper, last night was far from a disaster. UKIP came 2nd in over 100 seats and that means extra funding for next time round as they are now firmly established in many seats as the party of opposition. Also, we have Carswell back in the HoC's who for me, Farage aside, is probably best positioned to state UKIP's cause in there as opposed to Reckless and Aker. Having both of them in there alongside him would have been excellent. However, he is the best of those three. Finally, over 3 million people voted UKIP and it signifies the need for political reform, which won't happen under a Conservative majority but you can bet your bottom dollar that with the SNP now running riot in Scotland that even Labour will be pushing for reform soon as they just won't get the backing they need across England. If Labour do not seek political reform then they will stay as the opposition for the foreseeable future with less influence.

As a Kipper, I'm not at all unhappy Farage has stepped down. He made his claim to become MP for Thanet South and lost. He stuck to his word and stepped down. The Farage factor was wearing off and its time for a fresh face. Those who voted for UKIP because of Farage will still continue to mostly vote UKIP because they're mostly disillusioned with the mainstream parties. We now need someone who is articulate and clever enough to appeal to more voters of other parties to get them to become Kippers.

How old are you?

He served his purpose and has got us an in - out referendum and also the SNP gained 57 seats with 1.5m people voting whereas Fargae and UKIP got 1 seat with 4 million voters, where's the democracy?

The Greens got 1 seat with 1 million votes. The Lib Dems got 8 seats with 800k. The voting system needs to be reformed.

Suzanne Evans is literally terrible. Her beak is epic mind.

I insult her appearance for the sole reason she insulted a member of the crowd after Question Time not so long ago. Publically mocking a mentally unstable persons appearance.

Steven Woolfe is your best bet.

P.S I also agree Mark Reckless is terrible. It was better for ukip for him to lose. How he is an politician I will never know. He has nothing about him. He reminds me of alan patridge. Carswell is a millions times better.
