Cardiff City owner gives green light to Slade to sign transfer targets
Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan has given Bluebirds boss Russell Slade the green light in going ahead and signing his transfer targets.
The Welsh side have endured an extremely inconsistent season this year, and ended the 2014/15 campaign in 11th position in the Sky Bet Championship.
Russell Slade’s men never seemed to get a good run of results together, meaning they failed to mount a serious push for promotion this season.
However, it now seems that Cardiff are already looking ahead to next season, with Slade revealing that club owner Vincent Tan has allowed him to pursue his main targets.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Slade said: “Vincent’s [Tan] already given the green light for a couple of targets”
“We’ve got two or three little packages lined up for him to review and see if we get some joy from them.”
It is uncertain as of yet who the Welsh club have their eyes on, and it remains to be seen whether these deals will actually materialise in this summer’s transfer window.
