Tonight I witnessed a guy with little or no confidence and who is played out of position. He looks to pass as soon as he gets it, a real likelihood he will be returning to the UK next season.Bidding war to follow. Is it true his wife and daughter are back home in Wales?

Bale is coming!
Let's hope he's good to go for the Belguim game. Quicker he comes back the better.

I think it's plain to see, his personality just doesn't fit into that big headed galatico bollocks. He's to down to earth for all that shit. I'd love to seem him come home to the UK.... If man united finish in the top4 I can honestly see him wearing their shirt next season with that man united goal keeper going to Madrid as part of the deal.....I wouldn't mind seeing him pairing up with Rambo at arsenal... They would be unstoppable with bale at his best playing for them

Man utd ,with Hernandez and De Guerra going the other way plus cash

Bale won't go to Arsenal after Spurs.
You can see how much happier he is in a Wales short than a Madrid one.

I thought Bale was decent fist half, but did anyone notice him on the pitch in the second half? He clearly doesn't want to be there and with the way the fans and press have treated him, I'm not surprised! I certainly wouldn't bust a gut for them!

Can imagine him going to United, especially as Real Madrid want De Gea.

I'd like to see him persevere at Madrid personally, but if does return to the UK, then I hope it's not to United.

me too, it's extremely difficult for him to be bought as a main attraction. Steve McManaman arrived to Madrid on a free transfer, so the pressure was considerably less.
He is still young and is getting better, once he fully adapts his game to what Madrid expects, he will rival his team-mate! He needs to give CR7 some attitude back and not be bullied out of taking free-kicks etc.
Balotelli on a fraction of his talent is very single-minded in that respect, and probably a big reason as to why he done so well to play for clubs his talent didn't really warrant playing for.

Often gets unfairly criticised, and believe the sooner he returns to English football, the better for him and for us. Being played out of position, when there was other players who could fill the role he played last night, meant that he couldn't effect the game as he usually does. Can definitely see him lining up for Man Utd next season.

Bale was poor last night, but he wasn't alone!!!!!

He's going to always attract criticism if he under-performs at £85m. Part of the deal. Not entirely justified given he's still not fit and being played on his weaker side but a player worth £85m should technically battle through that.
He should just come home though. I'd be surprised if he's still a Real Madrid player next season. I can see him joining Manchester United for sure.

Modric had a awful period and he come good in the end so did the likes of Beckham. But let's not turn a blind eye here the reason why the fans and press are on his back is because he's had many more games like that this season in a Madrid shirt.

Bale is also keeping the fans' favourite Isco out of the team which doesn't help his cause.

It hasn't worked out for him, his partner and daughter are back in Cardiff, I see a summer move over here and can't wait, his talent is wasted in a team that only serves to Ronaldo. Bale needs freedom to move and run at opposition, he's a team player in a team that plays around 1 player, it's awful to see.

He would go to Arsenal, supports them.

Bumped into him the other day he said he is saving it all for the Wales games now

doesn't want to risk another injury. Scoring goals in cup finals, winning the champions league and league in his first season was it?? He's getting hustled out I reckon by the other galactico's, let's face it he is a genuine nice person, too nice for that world I think. Reckon it will be city or Utd less Chelsea swop him for hazard.....
