Big question on the bus on the way back

Sat May 02, 2015 9:24 pm

Why did only 3-4 players come over to the fans and give their shirts up at the end.
Peltier, Fabio and Turner definitely did it.

Did the others not care?
And where was the manager?
Why didn't he tell the players to come over ?

Excellent support today and really it would have helped to build the bond.
If we can see that as mere mortals how can't our well paid management/ coaching staff not see it

Tim, I did wonder why Slade never really acknowledged us,plus I was hoping for all the players would? ?

A lot clapped from the distance.

Annis.
It doesn't matter to me, but the youngsters there would have loved it.
Fair play to the ones that did come over.
No surprise that they were the ones who've shown they have got big hearts before

Its bit of a no show from both sides..

Whitts gets the odds half arsed chant, Marshall occasionally and they have been here longer than half our fans.

We don't even sing at home any more...

The abuse players like Whitts gets when a pass goes astray is ridiculous....

Today our fans as they usually are away from home were excellent in their backing of our team and Slades name was sung :thumbright: :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

As many of you know my grandson william was mascot at forrest
and not one of our players and he met them all before the game , gave him anything to remember the game , I would of thought a shirt or training top or used pair of boots from his named favourite player noone would of been nice .
at the end of

The game noone came over right in front of us and I gestured to him to give his shirt to william but he just turned away and ignored us :sladein: :bluescarf: :bluebird:

I see your point, but the lads at Forest yesterday backed the team 100%.

Yesterday was an expensive trip for a nothing game and a good number travelled.

It shows there is still a decent passionate support for this club and a bit of acknowledgement would have gone a long way

Steve, I am more than shocked they never gave William anything.
Slade needs to get out our players caring for the travelling fans, who had to fork out about £100 each yesterday tick/travel & food etc.

Sometimes you have to wonder if players have any concept of how lucky they are.

Thousands of fans travelling at a large financial cost to watch them, in some instances > 1/10 of a monthly wage spent!

Who is connected to the club within the players, it a squad full of older journeyman.

John -local lad sent out on loan

Marshall the captain is a senior pro, but quite subdued

Whitts - Has had the wrath of the boo boys all too often
Gunnar - Is quite quiet

We need superkev back next season....He is one of us, he can run over to the crowd and mean it. A few youngsters wouldn't go amiss.

I think that's the least you should expect from the players and manager! It just shows once again that they just don't care and don't appreciate their own supporters! It's not a big ask is it?
