Just Got Back/What A Day

Sat May 02, 2015 5:23 pm

Just got home from Nottingham, absolutely cracking day! Started at 5:20 and made my way down to CCS to get on the coach with weary eyes. Journey was smooth until the police held us back for 40 minutes. :o
Finally got to the stadium, city fans were making a fantastic noise. I would say there were at least 1500 city fans there.
City started well and Doyle converted a nice move to put us 1-0 ahead. :bluescarf:
The bluebirds then turned it up a notch and gave us something to cheer about with a second goal through Joe Ralls. :bluescarf:
City youngsters at the back set off a smoke bomb.
Good banter with the Forest fans. :bluescarf:
At half-time Ken Choo came over to us and have me and my sister a high five. :bluescarf:
We then sat back and protected our lead.
Marshall sent off for retaliation to a punch form Dexter Blackstock. :o
City showed great character to hold on, Moore with some cracking saves.
My MOTM was Doyle, closely followed by Fabio.

Great day. Starting to believe in Slade and this team, :bluescarf:

Did you go on your own?

Long trip for someone of your age to go alone.
