fans are out of their depth

Are you seriously telling me league 1 players would not improve cardiff side. A good scouting department we need and not you tube or fifa football experts. Bournemouth were a league 1 side.

Agree totally. Some complete whoppers. The same person who said Slade wouldn't improve on Maynard and Macheda as he would sign league 1 players put a huge list of lower league players we should look at.

The right type of League 1 players would certainly improve the team but there's a reason why most of the players in League 1 are there and that is because they are NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

The trick is identifying those up and coming players who have the potential to play in a higher league and nurture them to fulfil that potential for the benefit of the team.

Whether or not you think Slade is up to the task or not ( :sladeout: ) the fact is that he has never before had experience of what type of player is needed for the Championship.

That's why scouts are employed for. We need a Peter Taylor type of scouting.

I think you'll find Slade assembled his Leyton Orient team with 30 free transfers and took them to within a penalty shootout of the Championship.

But he's had money and taken the club nowhere apart from mid-table safety for now. Of course you need to spot talent as it comes through in lower divisions. Obvious. Equally obvious is that every other club tries to do the same.

New manager asap please. :sladeout:

From 17th to mid table reducing the budget by 12 million.

Everyone's hero Malky did f**k all at Wigan.

Everyone's hero Malky took Wigan down who were in a bad way. Think ourselves lucky.

Tbf, I did mention all of that and give him credit, plus he's a nice guy.

However, this club's squad were highly tipped for re promotion as champions. It's not been a good season and the support on match days is dwindling. No interest in season tickets for next year so this can only get worse imho.

Grateful for "giving" the club back its rightful BLUE colours and a better badge? Grateful for stewards who are obviously acting on orders to stifle free expression and, it seems, enjoyment? Grateful for a huge debt owed to Tan? Grateful for a dire brand of football?

Forgive me if I am a little churlish, but NO! I'm not grateful!!!
