Running track across from CCS

I remember reading on this message board that Steve Borley and VT was supposedly in talks with council about taking over the athletics track?! anyone please remind me why they were doing this, or give me links to original post.

I heard they were planning on using it as additional facilities for the academy. Our 11 a side team trains over there and the current staff at the sports stadium don't have a clue what's going on. I've heard the takeover is scheduled to be completed in May or June though.

It think the story suggested that CCFC would take over the running of it from the council, but it looks more like its a joint project with the Cardiff & Vale College.
