It's been said countless times, the figures are based on "tickets sold", just like they do at Man United (where some crowds are as low as 45,000), or at Arsenal where some gates are up to,15,000 below the quoted figure......

actually blackpools attendance was about right on the basis of what they have been using all season
16500 season tiket holders plus 9000 tickets they gave to schools that's 25500 plus walk up and away fans of approx. 1000 equals the 26387 that they said
