" Bolton Chairman giving all clear to get Adam Le Fondre "
Wed 29th April 2015
Adam Le Fondre has been Bolton’s key player ever since he joined on loan from fellow Championship side, Cardiff. He has played 15 games for Bolton, scoring 8 goals. That is a much better record than the one he had at Cardiff, he played 21 games for the club, only scoring 3.
It is rumoured that Lennon has got the ‘all clear’ from the chairman and can put in a bid for Le Fondre. Cardiff have got plenty of strikers, and will most likely be wanting to offload some of them. Le Fondre revealed in an interview that Cardiff still haven’t offered him a contract, despite his great run in form for the Trotters.
Adam was quoted saying ‘ I am enjoying my football at Bolton, I think the gaffer would like to bring me here. If you score goals, the fans love you and I want to be loved. I am a striker and strikers are meant to be heroes. That’s what I want to be.’Lennon praised Le Fondre’s strike-rate insisting though that there was still room for improvement in his game.’He’s got seven goals for us now, but God knows how many he’d have if he’d been with us from the start,” said Lennon.’Having said that, I think he can get better. There are aspects of his game that are a little bit off the pace at times.“But if he is with us next season, which may or may not happen, then we will endeavour to make him better in general, but definitely get more goals out of him.’
The striker’s departure was a surprise to many Cardiff City fans, with Le Fondre later claiming he had been given the news out of the blue as the team travelled to an away match. Russell Slade disagreed with the strikers version of events, insisting it was Le Fondre’s representatives who’d contacted him about a possible move until the end of the season. It has now emerged Le Fondre and Russell Slade have not spoken since that public spat.

with the right tactics he will score goals.
its such a pitiful fee in this day and age that its worth having him on the bench. he couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo when he was here but if thats the sort of fee they are talking about i know where i'd tell them to stick it.
i'd only sell if we got £2m plus, goalscorers are hard to come by.
