Ade Oshilaja Going?!?!?!, David Tutonda in 1st Team and Mor

I can't believe we are - according to Terry Phillips - going to let go one of our young and talented players leave us. I have always rated him highly and I feel that next season he should be in the First Team squad. We Certainly should not be looking to sell him, I think he is much better than Nugent, Amondarin and a few of the other young defenders. Even Neal Ardley said that he should be playing at a much higher level than League 2, where he currently is on loan at AFC Wimbledon. I think Adedeji should be battling it out with Manga, Turner and Morrison for a place in one of the two central defensive positions. Really, I would like to keep Connolly but I feel Watford will sign him permanently and good luck to him. Also, I think David Tutonda who is another quality young defender that we have, should also be given a chance in the first team next season. He is doing brilliantly for Newport at the moment, where he is on loan. Personally, I would like to see Fabio and Tutonda battle it out for the left back position next season, with Malone going and Declan John going out on a season long loan as a WINGER. We really do need to start giving the younger players a chance now. I don't know what it is but these past God knows how many years, we have not been giving youth a chance and if we have that has only happened because of injuries. I remember in the early to mid nineties and before we were always giving young players a chance. We have a much better youth system now compared to back then but we just seem to have lost any faith in giving younger players a chance. Maybe we wouldn't have got into so much debt and not wasted loads of money on players, if we had of thrown a few of the young boys in instead. It seems that at least 75% of Championship teams this season promote a good number of their squad from their youth academies and it's about time we started too. I would much rather see young players who are fearless, hungry, determined, etc. Rather than players who are just turning up for their wage, that show no commitment, ones who don't care and basically ones who just can't be bothered to put any hard work in and their are a few of them in the squad.

Bloooooobirds.

PS - What I wouldn't do to see a manager like Eddie Howe who has a great philosophy, who works hard, who demands hard work from every single one of his players, who gives chances to young and unwanted players, who is young, who has new and refreshing ideas, who can set his team up in more than one way, who has a ruthless streak in him and who is a genuinely nice guy that, to be our next manager - by the start of next season.

PPS - I always knew that Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink would become a very good manager and yes he may have only been successful with Burton Albion in League 2. But, he did it with absolutely no money which is very hard to do at any level of the Football League. I predict great things for Jimmy in his future and personally I would welcome him as City's next manager any day over Russel Slade. Now Jimmy certainly is a hard working and he is a very ruthless man, who has experience at all levels of British and European football.

I wouldn't listen to a word Terry Phillips says. He's an ice hockey man, not a football man.

Oshilaja will be going on loan again as will Tutonda
