UKIP

Although the UKIP vote seems to be crumbling and it looks like they will have no elected members, here's a little reminder if you still plan to vote that way.

Still voting for UKIP, protest vote for me. I don't care about their policies.
Cant trust plaid, waste of time.
Labour loves paying out welfare benefits.
Tories, miners strike, enough said.

You won't vote for the Tories 'because of the miners strike'
but you'll vote for UKIP who are almost all ex Tories!
...as for 'not trusting Plaid' why do you say this?

15% won't win them any seats will it...oh and when did you last see Farage?

Yeah not migrants but capitalism, ukip, Tories etc etc all part of the capitalist ideology everyone looking out for themselves.

Think someone needs to tell Bluegog how elections work. The Green Party got 1% of the total vote in the 2010 election, and also got 1 seat in parliament. Although UKIP didn't actually win a seat, they had over 3% of the votes cast, the highest percentage of votes rec'd by a party while still failing to win a seat.

Looking at the most recent poll there were no UKIP candidates in the lead in any constituency. Farage looks closest on 33% place joint with the Tories in Thanet but even his vote looks as if it's fading now. this poll is from last Friday and is really interesting. Plaid could win up to 6 seats and are set to be second in Neath, Rhondda, Pontypridd etc

In all probability UKIP will have the same number of seats that they had in 2010 - zero. They will have a much bigger percentage of the votes than Lib Dems but their votes will be spread thinly right across most constituencies. In effect, voting UKIP will not actually get them any seats, but will take votes away from the serious contenders which will mean they will still have an influence on the outcome of who wins some of these constituencies. Personally, when it comes to the General Election, I think voting UKIP will be a wasted vote, even though I can see why a lot of people agree with a lot of what they have to say (including me).

Agree we are big enough to go it alone ,the world is a big place European countries need us more than we need them ,Europe has to trade with us ,why should Britain pay the most in to the eu and get the least out

Immigrants taking over and ruining this country in six seconds for about the last 50 years.

Possibly the UK needs to ask the question why 'don't most of Europe like us?'

The UKIP vote is not crumbling.

This is just another attempt by the corrupt and anti-democracy establishment to rubbish UKIP!

The LibLabCon are politically correct parties that have corrupted democracy! Personally, If I had my way, I'd charge the lot for treason and those convicted should face a firing squad!

Re: UKIP

Anyone who votes UKIP is welcome to live in the Republic of Little England they would love to have you think they will create. Thankfully there is no chance of it happening, so we can all breathe a big sigh of relief and hope that Farrage keeps his promise when he loses his seat and fucks off for good.

The establishment control and influence the vast majority of the media ( and the vast majority of the media is now corrupted by the left wing/ Common Purpose). UKIP are the biggest threat to their power base in a 100 years and they will pull out all the stops to undermine that threat and we see this every day in the media, the daily attacks on Nigel Farage and his party!
These attacks are very unBritish, in fact, they are more akin to what one would expect to happen in a banana republic.
The sheep need to wake up.

Why not just spoil your ballot slip eg "none of the above" ? It's counted in the turn out figures and it's a form of protest without giving that lot credibility

Re: UKIP

Tue Apr 28, 2015 8:14 pm

As UKIP have never been in power, guess its the Tories and Labour who have presided over low wages and poverty.

Oh, and mass immigration and protection of paedophiles, not to mention illegal wars and record levels of debt.

Europe loves Britain - who else pays child benefits to kids who've never been here....and pays in £16bn, only to get £8bn back.

The only votes crumbling are that of the two main parties, the Fib Dems already gone..

Re: UKIP

The people claiming that immigrants cause all the uks problems are almost as big a waste of time as the people claiming all immigrants are a positive for the country.

Look at some areas of Cardiff ffs. Shocking.

Re: UKIP

Tue Apr 28, 2015 8:51 pm

Not registered in Wales so can't vote Plaid unfortunately as a protest. I'll vote UKIP in England as one. I simply refuse to vote LabLibCon. I have no qualms voting UKIP as they want MP recall and PR. Any parties pushing for a more democratic system will get my backing.

I am voting Ukip because they are the only party that has bothered to come canvasing in our area.

Re: UKIP

Tue Apr 28, 2015 10:43 pm

Bear in mind the % of votes isn't proportional to the number of seats won (unfortunately, though it really should be that way), so 15% really could mean little to no seats for UKIP if their support isn't concentrated enough.

I think we'll see them win 5 seats tops though.

Re: UKIP

Tue Apr 28, 2015 11:00 pm

I'm voting for a party who will out a lot more money in defence, science and engineering. Wait what's that? No party?

Fine I'll do a proper protest vote and vote for the party which NHS workers created to make sure the NHS stays free and gets more funding.

By the way, makes me laugh when Farage said "a vote for me is two fingers up to the establishment" well Farage hate to break it to you. IF you get in power you will be the establishment.

Re: UKIP

Tue Apr 28, 2015 11:39 pm

I cannot believe anyone that has the best interests of Wales at heart would even consider voting for UKIP, a party firmly to the right of the Tories!!

Farage is not interested in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, he is a nasty, pompous, scaremongering little Englander.

Plaid Cymru for me. We should have some pride in our own country and our ability to look after ourselves. Despite what Farage, Nuttals and the like think, we are not a bunch of cave dwelling troglodytes.
