Perhaps a break from CCFC is what we all need?

Mon Apr 27, 2015 8:28 pm

Usually this time of year I'm thinking what am I going to do without my weekly Cardiff City fix! Now I'm just glad the seasons coming to an end! I don't think I've ever felt this way before! Next season will I'm sure bring renewed hope and some better football. Who knows we may even challenge for a top 6 place next season :o. Above all else I just hope we somehow get a team with a bit of character with one or two exciting players! Like a lot people on here I'm not confident we will achieve this under Slade but I live in hope!! C'mon Wales we all need cheering up! :sladeout:

Feel the same. I have renewed though and can't wait for Forest Saturday. I'm not disappointed about the season ended but I'm sure in 2 or 3 weeks il be counting down the days for the new fixture list and for when the season starts

A break from CCFC? ...... definitely!

I couldn't agree more with the sentiments expressed in this thread, I have renewed with a mixture of optimism and dread. My fingers are tightly crossed that the standard of football on offer next season shows a little more verve, imagination and excitement for our fans. The prospects look bleak under Mr. Salde but like every football fan across the country I will be itching for the new season to start in August.

I haven't renewed after 30 years

I feel guilty not doing it tho

I can't bear to watch the tripe that Slade dishes up - maybe pay as you go next season

Annis this is so sad, the owner, the board and manager are totally to blame for great supporters feeling this way! They should be totally ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen! Total failures the lot of them!

Nothing new here. I'm always ready for a break at the end of the season, no matter how it's gone. Time to catch up on some music, and sort out my programmes. Read some football books. Always ready for the new season in August, though. This year is no exception. :bluescarf: :bluebird: :ayatollah:

I feel the same as you but I will be viewing next season with some trepidation.

For me the season finished weeks ago and 'm more looking forward to the changes this summer and a new start come August.

It's been a strange ending as it's the first year for a long time when I haven't been a bag of nerves watching results from all over the country worrying about their effect on us. This year it's just with 'interest'.

By now I'm normally knackered and dying for a rest from it all anyway- especially with the Championship which is SUCH a long season.

I think most are fed up and I'm hoping that many fans will be energised by a break in the summer and come back with a bit more enthusiasm in August.

Let's not forget we are back in blue with a Bluebird badge and down to the hardcore fans, not just ones who are hoping for a ticket to see Man U.

I hope that also some of the older ones who have dropped off for various reasons start to feel it's their club again and come back too.

Annis this is the worst season ever for me and i've been going home and away since 1979 so I include the Alan Durban days in this statement. This season has been awful really awful :sladeout:

The only game I've properly enjoyed was Brentford away. That was a great day. But one in a whole season isn't great...
