Not so sure mate. I like his finishing and he certainly has a goal in him but rarely tries and in the championship you need 11 players who give 110%.

Bothroyd barely tried and he got an England call-up

Bothroyd did a job for us that Kiko will never replicate. He won free kicks and every week got kicked poff the park, he earned his call up.

When you were in the dungeon, it counted.

Problem is covering our weak links....Ole played - Macheda,Whitts, Noone & Daehli with Fabs dashing forward, not forgetting Kenwyne.

Malky played Whitts. Its about balancing the triers and talent

I agree with the above. Our fans milk the bed if someone runs around like a headless chicken (because he's trying) I like Macheda but wish he made more effort though.be good to get him to play along side mason and Doyle I think. Play them both of him.

He has a reputation in the Championship with Brum before us, if we could get any kind of fee instead of a golden hand shake I would think its good business I dare to guess his wages didn't drop when he left Manure. total let down for City IMHO. Let some other team build a team round the premadona. If City want to push for the play offs a lot of players need to go kiko and the like are top of the list. One of the worst strikers I have seen at Cardiff.

A dreadful touch, does not jump off the ground, goes missing for the vast majority of games and probably runs the least of any of the players by a mile. He may have tapped in a couple of goals and side footed one in but he is certainly not for the future.

I think the fact it was a squad of "triers" that managed to succeed in getting us promoted as champions. An achievement that previous teams packed with "talent" could not manage. So I can see why our fans would prefer the hard workers.

On the topic of Macheda, I've never been his biggest fan. If you take away that goal he scored against Aston Villa years ago, what has he done over the course of a season to make anyone think he's got it in him to help guide us to promotion from this division? No doubting his potential but would he score 20 goals a season? I don't think he could in this division.
